Time heals all wounds, or so the saying goes, but for Stuart Nosener,
time wasn't being so kind to him. The calendar said it had been
almost a
full year since his divorce, but his emotions didn't seem to notice.
He had
spent the better part of the past twelve months trying to cope
with the
demise of his family. Oh, nobody died, but many will agree that
a divorce is
a lot like a death. Some folks are out dating a few months after
they part
ways with their former spouses, while others seem to need a lot
more time.
Still for other folks like Stu Nosener, there simply isn't anyone
around for
them to date.
When you finally are able to grasp the fact that your marriage
is over,
you come to one realization: you are alone. For Stu, this meant
long hours
of solitude, with not much to do but think about what might have
been. And
thinking about such things that are out of ones control, is a
certain recipe
for depression. It soon became apparent to Stu that he had to
find things to
do that would help keep his mind off his troubles. He joined several
aquatic
clubs in his area. He had always been an avid fish hobbyist, so
he figured
that joining both the Brooklyn Aquarium Society and the Long Island
Aquarium
Society would take up two of his four Friday's a month. He also
decided to
attend a continuing education class at his local college. These
activities
did help to improve his outlook on life, yet he still felt he
had too much
free time to spend alone, and when that happened, those same sad
thoughts,
those "what if" thoughts kept finding their way back into his
head.
Stu was tired of feeling unhappy, and as of November 1, 1992,
two of the
three pieces to the puzzle was in place. The puzzle was how to
find some
happiness and get over his divorce. The first piece of the puzzle
had been
his joining those hobbyist groups. The second piece was going
back to
school. The third piece came in the form of a computer. Stu had
expressed a
great interest in computers, and for the holidays, his father
decided to
surprise him with one. Oh, it was an old Radio Shack machine from
Tandy.
Back in those days, the 20 MB hard drive was considered huge.
Today,
whenever Stu thinks back to those old systems, he has to chuckle
to himself.
Stu was very happy with his new toy. He would run the different
programs
the machine came with and this helped him pass the time. He noticed
the
computer had the software to the Prodigy service in it, and one
day he
decided to open up an account. Once he did that, he found a new
world
online. He immediately ventured to a pets message board and posted
messages
with other folks who shared his interest of keeping tropical fish
aquariums.
He also adored birds, so he found an area for people to discuss
this hobby
as well. Then, one fine day after writing a note about ways to
reduce
nitrate in marine aquaria, he decided to see what else Prodigy
might have to
offer him.
He searched the service and found a message board that was a support
group. In fact, the name of it was, "support group message board."
Throughout his entire 13year marriage, Stu had always wished his
wife had
been into spanking, but she wasn't. Not really. Sometimes she
would let him
spank her, and on rare occasions, she would even act as if she
enjoyed it.
But most of the time, she would get angry with him, if he tried
to spank
her. The marriage didn't end because of spanking. There were other
reasons
for the relationships demise. Still, Stu wondered how other people
would
react if they knew he had an interest in spanking. He took a deep
breath and
started to type a message to post. He wrote in the subject line,
"Strange
Desire," and posted that he had a desire that was strange and
that he didn't
want to post about it publicly. However, if anyone wanted to know
what it
was, he invited those people to email him. It didn't take that
long until he
had quite a few queries. When he wrote back to those people that
he was into
spanking, all of them wrote to him, telling him there was nothing
wrong with
it. He figured those folks were just being nice. Then, one guy
wrote
something that would forever change his life. The words written
to him was,
"If you think that is strange, you should check out the Frank
Discussions
Bulletin Board. The things they write about even makes me blush."
Stu took a deep breath and moved forward in his seat and searched
for
Frank Discussions. Before he knew it, he was staring at the Frank
D BB page.
In the search box, he typed in the word "spanking," and then he
saw
something that almost took his breath away. There were dozens
of threads
about spanking. He could hardly believe it. He knew his endless
boring
nights were about to be a thing of the past. He read many of the
threads and
finally decided to post something. He started a subject thread
and called it
"Spanking Corner." The name of the thread was the same name of
a spanking
column that used to run in an underground newspaper called, "Candid
Press."
CP was published back in the early 70's and as a minor; he used
to go buy
the paper with a friend of his. The paper itself wasn't a spanko
paper, but
it had enough perversion in it to make Stu happy. And when he
stumbled upon
the spanking corner pages, he almost fainted dead away. So, after
a month of
online pet chat, Stu had finally made it to the spanking corner.
The date
was December 28, 1992.
The next day, Stu signed on to Prodigy. Every time he signed on,
he hoped
that the "Got Mail," sign would be flashing. He was hoping to
hear from his
one or two friends that he had made online. One of them was a
girl named
Lisa. She lived just over in NJ. She was 18 and claimed her father
still
spanked her. Stu used to love hearing from her. So, when he opened
up his
email, he was kind of upset not to see a letter from sweet Lisa
there.
Instead, a note from Anna Rivera was there. The note was just
two sentences
and it said, "Email me. No public replies please." Stu wrote back
to Anna
and little did he know, that this was going to be the start of
a lifelong
friendship.
To make a long story short, Anna was not her name. Her real name
was Lea
and she lived on Long Island. The two of them quickly became very
close and
even though it took until May 8, 1993, they finally decided to
meet on that
date. So, here is where the story really begins.
Stu and Lea were both very popular posters on Prodigy. They both
participated in many of the spanking threads and had made many
friends. Stu
was so happy when Lea finally said that she would meet him. Back
then,
nobody really met anyone from the cyber world, and it was a scary
proposition to do so. During their online courtship, they both
shared a lot
of personal information about each other. Lea knew that Stu lived
in a coop
and in fact, lived on the top floor. That was 20 flights up. One
week prior
to their first date, Lea told Stu that as a child, she had once
been stuck
in an elevator and had developed an elevator phobia. Now, Stu
had about four
months experience dealing with brats like Lea and he knew that
she was just
pulling his chain, but Lea remained adamant that she could not
ride in an
elevator. Stu decided to offer this option to Lea: He told her
that they
could each post a note on Prodigy and tell their side of the story.
Lea
could say that she had an elevator phobia and could not ride and
Stu could
post that if he tried to walk up 20 flights of stairs, he'd no
doubt drop
dead of a heart attack. They would then let their friends vote
and either
she would ride, or he would walk. Stu figured there were more
spankers/TOPS
online then brat/bottoms, and he felt he would most likely win
the vote.
So, they both posted. It didn't take all that long before the
votes
started coming in. Stu noticed a peculiar thing: Nobody was voting
for him.
Every single vote was for Lea, telling Stu to walk up the stairs
with her.
Finally, one poster, a gentlemen named Dr. Karl, posted and said,
"Stu, if
she really loves you as much as she says, she won't make you do
something
she knows you can't handle." Stu was so happy that at least one
person voted
in his favor that it threw him for a loop when less than ten minutes
later,
the good doctor was back saying, "I've given it further thought
and feel
that Stu should walk up the stairs." Defeated, Stu was going to
have to walk
the stairs.
He met Lea on that gorgeous May afternoon and he remembers it
well. The
moment she got out of her car, he knew he had a true love for
her. They both
spent the day at the NY Aquarium and then went back to his apartment.
During
the drive to his place, Lea was being a total brat. Teasing him
by
unbuttoning her blouse, and putting her bare feet up on the dashboard
of his
car and making many a passing truck driver smile with their teeth.
Finally,
they got back to Stu's building and found themselves standing
in the lobby.
Stu looked at Lea, kind of giving her a pleading facial expression,
but to
no avail, she opened up the staircase door and the two of them
proceeded to
climb up the stairs. Lea ran in front of Stu, as Stu would smack
at her
bottom. This activity would keep him going for about five flights,
before he
would need a break to stop and catch his breath. Lea, on the other
hand, was
into aerobics and just seemed to be enjoying Stu's torment. Even
though this
part of the date was torturous, Stu was still having a great time.
Finally, the 20th floor arrived and Stu and Lea made their way
out of the
staircase. Stu opened the door to his apartment and the two of
them stepped
inside. Stu immediately crashed onto this love seat, while Lea
sat beside
him. After a few minutes, Lea said to Stu, "Why don't you sign
on to Prodigy
and see if there are any new posts on the board?" Stu complied
and signed
on. He saw a new message and said to Lea, as he was opening it,
"Yes, there
is something new here." Lea stood up and walked over to Stu. She
was now
standing behind him, looking over his shoulder at his monitor.
That new post
now appeared before them.
Stu started reading it. The message was from Lea and it said the
following: "Hi Stuart. I am standing next to you looking over
your shoulder
as you are reading this post. See, I knew you could make it up
the 20
flights. I'd like to thank all of my friends for going along with
me on this
joke on Stu." It seemed that Lea had emailed all of our friends
and told
them that she was only joking and that she'd never really make
me walk up
those stairs. She asked them, as a joke to all vote on her side.
Well, Stu
laughed hard, because she really had tricked him. Oh, he knew
that she had
no elevator phobia, but he never thought she would be such a devious
brat as
to email their friends like that. So, he laughed and then he took
her over
his lap. It was the first time he had a lady who was into spanking,
someone
who he had met online, over his knee.
He remembered spanking her very gently. He was terrified of doing
anything wrong. At one point she looked back at him and said,
"wimp." Stu
spanked her harder and finally put his hand at the hem of her
skirt. He
asked permission to raise it and Lea just nodded her head yes.
He then
started spanking the seat of her panties. He was feeling very
comfortable
now, and was enjoying this newly found experience. Lea then looked
back at
him and said, "I must be getting very red back there.' Stu's heart
almost
stopped beating. He took a deep breath and said, "Well, you know,
there is
only one way I can tell for sure." Lea looked back at him and
said, "It's
alright." Stu looked up at the sky and said, "Oh thank you to
whoever
invented the modem!" He took her panties down and gave her a good
sound bare
bottom hand spanking. After the spanking play, the two of them
just cuddled
and talked. It was Stu's first experience with taking fantasy
and turning it
into reality. It was a date he would never forget.
Epilogue
Times do change and today Stu is in a relationship with a lady
he loves
very much. He and Lea are still friends and talk quite often.
In the years
Stu has been online, he's met many fine people, and some not so
fine folks.
But all in all, he can't complain. They say you never forget your
first
"date," and Stu can certainly attest to that. Yes, thanks to you,
whoever
you are, the person who invented the modem!
